Woman nabbed with P155K of shabu in Talisay drug bust
A 31-year-old woman, whom police described as a newly identified drug personality in Talisay City, was arrested and allegedly caught with illegal drugs worth P155,000 during an anti-illegal drug operation in Talisay City at least two hours before the Chinese New Year.
Mary Grace Seguisabal of Purok Ratan, Barangay Tangke, Talisay City, was arrested during a buy-bust operation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Unit of the Talisay City Police Station, said Supt. Marlu Conag, Talisay City Police chief.
Conag also said that Jayme “Imok” Medilo, allegedly the cohort of Seguisabal, escaped during the police operation.
Conag said that Medilo was allegedly a trusted aide of Steve Go, a drug personality who is serving time at the Mandaue City jail.
Conag said that they were still looking for Medilo.
Seguisabal was detained at the Talisay City Police Station pending the filing of charges.
