A 31-year-old pedicab driver was rushed to Cebu City Medical Center after he was shot by his neighbor in Barangay Mambaling, Cebu City on Saturday morning.
Winieloi Baclayon, 31, sustained gunshot wounds at his right abdomen after Julius Carpentero, 32, shot him twice.
According to the initial investigation, Baclayon was riding his pedicab when Carpentero shot him.
A hot pursuit operation was conducted by police authorities to arrest the suspect.
Earlier, a 46-year-old pedicab driver, Teresito Gica Deiparene, succumbed to death after he was shot several times by an unidentified person in Barangay Dumlog, Talisay City, Cebu on Friday evening.
