The family of slain lawyer and Ronda vice mayor Jonah John Ungab condemned his “gruesome death”, and are now coordinating with the National Bureau of Investigation in Central Visayas (NBI – 7) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) for speedy administration of justice.

Jed Ungab, the nephew of Jonah, told reporters in a press interview today that the family is urging individuals with any knowledge that may result to leads in finding the suspects.

“We’re very angry and we’re very sad at the same time. We’re trying to hold ourselves together. We were robbed of a family member in the most gruesome way,” Jed stated.

The remains of Ungab are open for public viewing starting today at St. Peter’s Funeral Homes at Imus Ave.

A necrological service will also be conducted at 7 p.m., Tuesday, February 20.
