Hard Court Kings, Silogan Ni Gian make MSBC finals
THE HARD Court Kings and Silogan Ni Gian pummeled last Monday their respective foes in the semis to arrange a championship duel in the MSBC Friendship Cup Season 3 at the Casals Village in Mabolo, Cebu City.
The top-seeded Hard Court Kings were head and shoulders above their opponents as they led early in the first half and refused to let up in the second half to cruise to a 60-48 victory over the fourth-ranked In This Corner.
Mark Ynoc bannered the Hard Court Kings with 14 points while Reggie Cuerda and Randy Oyao Dela Pisa added 12 and nine, respectively.
James Cabilino scored 10, while Niño Belande, Kevin Quilantang and Noel Torrefiel had eight points apiece for In This Corner.
In the other semis pairing, the number two-seed Silogan ni Gian nipped the third-seeded Spartans, 71-65, behind RickyMar Berdin and Rex Tuazon, who combined for 22 points.
The championship match is scheduled this Sunday.
