The Mandaue City government has filed frustrated murder charge against a motorcycle driver who intentionally hit a traffic enforcer this week.

Charges were filed against Ian Antillo, 31, from Barangay Labangon in Cebu City at the Mandaue City Prosecutor’s Office on Wednesday.

According to Glenn Antigua, the chief of the Traffic Enforcement Agency of Mandaue (TEAM), Mandaue Mayor Luigi Quisumbing instructed Atty. Elaine Bathan, his Executive Secretary to file charges against Antillo so he could learn from his mistakes.

Antigua also said that Antillo was found positive of alcohol use based on a liquor test that was conducted.

Cresencio Balili, who was seriously injured after he was rammed, is now recovering at Chong Hua Hospital in Mandaue.
