A Korean national was shot dead by an unidentified assailant along A.S. Fortuna St., Banilad Mandaue City on Friday evening.

Shang Ho Lee, 40, owner of a restaurant in Lapu-Lapu City, sustained multiple gunshot wounds after men riding-in-tandem on a motorcycle shot Lee inside his black Toyota Innova vehicle.

Lee was rushed to Mandaue City Hospital but was declared dead on arrival.

Police investigators recovered six empty shells and three bullet slugs, all from unknown firearm.

Senior Supt. Roberto Alanas, city police chief, said that they are now looking at three possible motives of killing Lee- personal grudge, business and robbery.
