Police ready for Edsa People Power celebrations

The Cebu City Police Office had put on standby members of the Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) team to handle civil disturbances especially since the country will celebrate the 32nd anniversary of the Edsa People Power Revolution today (Sunday).

Senior Supt. Julian Entoma, Regional Operations Plans Division of the Police Regional Office in Central Visayas (PRO-7) chief, said that police would continue their daily tasks since there are no scheduled marches for the day.

But just in case, cause-oriented groups would hold rallies or marches this day, Entoma said the police especially in Cebu City are ready to secure and to respond to any eventuality during the day.
