THE Philippines clinched its first title in the international pageant scene this year as the country’s representative, Sophia Senoron won the Miss Multinational 2018 at the Kingdom of Dreams held in Gurugram, India last Monday.
Arnold Vegafria, the country’s national director for Miss Multinational, posted on his Instagram account as he shared the good news to the Filipinos.
“Philippine pride the first Miss Multinational SOPHIA SENORON,” he said as he shared a photo of him and Senoron.
Senoron,18, defeated 12 other candidates.
Her runners-up are Saskis Kuban of Germany (first runner-up) and Shefali Sharm of India (second runner-up).
Another photo was posted by Vegafria on his Instagram where he crowned Senoron.
“Since this is the first Miss Multinational, they called the national director of a winner to crown her own candidate. I’m so proud of you @sophiasenoron,” Vegafria said.
Senoron is a member of Kagandahang Flores (KF) camp.
She joined the Miss World Philippines 2017 competition and won the Miss Multinational Philippines title.
Senoron is also the second Filipina from among the Miss World Philippines 2017 winners who won an international title.
To recall, Teresita Ssen Marquez, who represented the country in 2017 was crowned as the first Filipina for the Reina Hispanoamericana title.
