A security guard was shot dead by his co-worker outside a shopping mall at the North Reclamation Area, Cebu City on Thursday dawn.
Jinnifer Pogado, a resident of Barangay Pardo, Cebu City, sustained a gunshot wound in his head after Alpante Margarito, another security guard, shot him.
SPO1 Winston Ybañez, city police investigator, said that Pogado and Margarito, who worked for the same security agency, had a heated argument before the incident.
Margarito grabbed his improvised shotgun and shot the victim once.
The policemen are now conducting a hot pursuit operation to arrest Margarito who fled after the shooting the victim.
