10 people nabbed, 191K of suspected shabu seized in Danao City busts

Suspected shabu worth P191,000 were confiscated in separate anti-illegal drugs operations of the Danao City police in three barangays in Danao City on Saturday.

Ten people were also arrested during the separate buy-bust operations, which were all part of “Oplan Limpyo Danao,” in Barangay Poblacion, Tabac and Maslog said Supt. Jaime Quiocho, Danao City Police Station chief in a phone interview with Cebu Daily News.

Quiocho said that five of the those arrested were suspected drug pushers while the five others were suspected drug users.

The suspected drug pushers were Sunyboy Matiga, Larry Cuenca, Michael Batulan, Jemeo Flores Jr., and Reggie Mangas while the suspected users were Judy Juntilla, Laurente Paradiang, Teodulfo Roxas Jr., Francis Bayang and Edzel Jay Cuizon.

Quiocho said that they recovered from the suspects 19 sachets and 2 medium packs of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P191,000.
The 10 suspects were detained at the Danao Police detention cell pending the filing of charges.
