THE UNIVERSITY of San Carlos’ (USC) team A, St. Theresa’s College (STC), and Sacred Heart School- Ateneo de Cebu’s (SHS-AdC) teams A and B advanced to the semifinals of the first Cebu Schools Athletic Foundation Inc. (Cesafi) Girls’ Futsal tournament after logging separate victories in the second relegation round yesterday at the USC gym.
STC defeated the Jaguars’ team B, 7-1, USC-A crushed the USJ-R-A, 9-2, SHS-AdC-A beat USJ-R-A, 6-0, and SHS-AdC-B toppled USC-B, 4-0, to make it to the last four rounds. SHS-AdC-A takes on SHS-AdC-B while USC-A faces STC in the semifinals, which will be held on March 11 at the same venue.
