MITSUBISHI Motors Philippines Corp. (MMPC) recently held a public expo and test drive event as it officially launched the much anticipated all-new Mitsubishi XPANDER. Dubbed as the XPANDER Xpo, this exclusive Mitsubishi motor show and test drive event ran from March 2 until March 4, 10 AM to 9 PM at the World Trade Center, Pasay City.
A showcase of the all-new Mitsubishi XPANDER line-up and an array of Mitsubishi’s current best-selling models was on display during the 3-day expo. Expo visitors were also able to view the world’s first plug-in hybrid SUV the Outlander PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle).
MMPC gave everyone the opportunity to experience first-hand and test drive the all-new XPANDER to prove why the XPANDER is a perfect choice. A special test drive course was laid out to showcase the performance and best in class features of the XPANDER. A Head to Head test drive where customers tried other competitive brands to fully compare the XPANDER was also available. Other available models for a test drive were the Montero Sport, Strada, Pajero, and Mirage.
Aside from a feast of great vehicles on display and test drive activities, kids also enjoyed the event with a dedicated kids’ play area with special attractions and activities, including a free drift box experience. And as an added attraction to kids, MMPC invited some friends from Nickelodeon- SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick – to say hello and play with the kids. Live performances from the country’s most popular bands Parokya ni Edgar and Sponge Cola also entertained expo-goers. Making the event even more memorable, Montero Sport brand ambassador, Megan Young, dropped by to host some fun games for the whole family.
