Man nabbed for rape of woman with disability

A 48-year-old man was arrested on Friday after a 26-year-old woman accused him of raping her in a northern town in Cebu.

Bartolome Libores was arrested after the woman, who is a person with a disability, and her 23-year-old sister reported the rape to police.

Police said that the younger sister claimed that she arrived home and caught Libores, whom she claimed to have already raped her elder sister.

Libores was detained at the northern town’s police station pending the filing of charges.
