Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team bikers win in Sagay City

TWO Cebuanos from the Keith DeFiebre Cycling Team bagged titles in the first National Mountain Bike Invitational — First Circuit Challenge in the 22nd Sinigayan Festival in Sagay City, Negros last Saturday.

Melvin Codoy, a 19-year-old from Balamban town, topped the Seniors category while Nilo Barbalose, a 50-year-old rider from Toledo City, won the golden division.

Their teammate, 21-year-old Nikko Otadoy, finished third in the open elite category while 20-year-old Manuel Pedroza also placed third in the senior’s category.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Justin Fernandez, also from the same team, finished sixth in the juniors category.

The cycling team will be racing in this weekend’s Consolacion Mountain Bike and the 15th Ramon Magsaysay Mountain Bike Challenge at Mount Manunggal, Balamban town.
