Dumanhug candidates turned over firearms for peaceful election

A total of 31 firearms were turned over by running candidates of the Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Elections in Dumanjug town, southwest Cebu on Thursday morning.

This, after the police personnel of Dumanhug town, called the attention of these candidates and urged them to surrender their firearms for a peaceful election.

The firearms were gathered at the Conference Hall of Dumanjug Executive Building.

All firearms are now deposited at the police station of Dumanjug.
