LAST April 22, Bluewater Maribago Beach Resort celebrated Earth Day 2018 with its very own MyBlueARTh – an Earth Day Family Festival.
Now in its fifth year, the event featured activities to encourage awareness of the importance of taking care of our planet whilst appreciating art, food, and music.
The event highlights include a Coastal Clean-up activity, Scubasurero, Lean and Green cuisine, and ornamental and herbs on display and for sale.
Bugsay 2018 – 2nd Bluewater Stand-Up Paddle (SUP) Challenge, a free energy sport, was also organized with the help of Lapu-Lapu Stand-Up Paddle Club.
Other competitions include Huni sa Hangin chime-making contest utilizing recycled materials and Katsa Bag Making contest.
A Music Fest with Skankin Brews, Junior Kilat, and Isla Negra made the event livelier. /PR
