Claudine Barretto’s new film to be shot in France

EXPECT her big screen comeback soon.

Optimum Star Claudine Barretto will headline a film, as confirmed by Viva Artists Agency.

The 38-year-old actress visited the Viva Entertainment Agency headquarters last Wednesday with her daughter Quia and met with Viva boss Vic del Rosario.

“New movie project for the #OptimumStar @claubarretto,” the post read.

The film is directed and written by award-winning director Sigrid Andrea Bernardo known for the films, “Kita Kita” and “Mr. & Mrs. Cruz.”

It is produced by Perci Intalan for Viva Films.

The Optimum Star also updated her fans in an Instagram post about her new project. She expressed her excitement as they will be flying to France in July to work on the film.

“This is it my PALANGGAS, I’M SO READY! ARE YOU ALL READY AND EXCITED MY CLAUDINIANS,” the
actress said.

There are no details yet on the title of the film and the rest of the cast.

Barretto’s last film was “Etiquette for Mistresses” which was released in 2015 and also starred Kris Aquino, Kim Chiu, and Iza Calzado.

She also starred in “In Your Eyes” in 2010 with Anne Curtis and Richard Gutierrez.

Her last TV series was “Bakit Manipis ang Ulap” aired in TV5 last 2016. Her co-stars were Diether Ocampo, Cesar Montano, and Meg Imperial.
