At least five structures were burned down in a fire that hit a residential area at North Road 6 St. in Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Carreta past 12 noon.
The alarm was received at 12:18 pm and was declared under control 1:21.
According to SFO4 Jovito Abelga, the Chief Operation of Cebu City Fire Department said that the fire started at the house of Ritchie Salinas.
Abelga said faulty wiring caused the fire.
No one was hurt, while damage was pegged at P30,000.
