New PRO-7 director assumes post, subjects key officers to drug test
As he assumed his post on Monday, new PRO-7 director, Chief Supt. Debold Sinas, admonished policemen to stop any involvement in the illegal drugs trade or they will face the harsh consequences of their actions.
Key officials of the PRO-7 were subjected to a surprise drug test shortly after the welcome program and installation of Sinas today.
Sinas relieved a medico-legal officer from the region’s crime laboratory after the latter tested positive of illegal drugs in a surprise drug test last week.
From now on, Sinas said PRO-7 policemen can expect more random drug test.
Meanwhile, he said there will be no reshuffling of key positions in the region for now.
