The Regional Wage Tripartite and Productivity Board (RTWPB-7) is expected to decide on the amount of wage hike for Central Visayas today, June 11.

This is the fourth deliberation conducted by the wage board over the appeal of the labor sector for a wage increase.

DOLE-7 regional director and chair of the wage board Alvin Villamor earlier mulled that the minimum wage increase will be P20.

This is to meet halfway with the appeal of the labor groups for a P25 increase and the plea of the management sector to only have a P13 increase in daily minimum wage.
