Minglanilla SK official to push through with case against rival

A Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) official in Minglanilla town, southern Cebu said he will push through with his election complaint against the recently elected SK Federation president in their area.

SK chairman Justin Tecson of Barangay Poblacion Ward 2 accused just elected SK Federation chairman John Jesson Gimenez of campaigning for the post by treating SK officials in Minglanilla town to a beach outing two days before the elections.

Tecson ran and lost to Gimenez, who admitted to treating SK officials to a beach outing to celebrate his victory but it was held on May 21 and 22 or a full week before the May 29 SK Federation elections.
