CLAF member shot dead in Lapu-Lapu

A member of the City of Lapu-Lapu Allied Force (CLAF) was shot dead by unidentified assailants onboard a motorcycle in Sitio Saac, Barangay Buaya in Lapu-Lapu City on Thursday evening, June 21.

Arnold Pino, 43, a habal-habal driver, from Zone 1, Sitio Saac died on the spot after he sustained gunshot wound on his head.

SPO2 Allan Frederick Pantaleon of the Homicide Section said that Pino was waiting for passengers along M.L.Quezon National Highway when the backrider shot the victim.

Authorities are now conducting an investigation to determine the identity of the assailants and the motive of the killing.
