CAN someone go back in time and correct his mistakes?
This is the premise of the upcoming romantic comedy film, “Unli Life” starring Kapuso actress Reina Hispanoamericana 2017 Teresita Ssen “Winwyn” Marquez and Kapamilya actor Vhong Navarro.
A teaser was released by Regal Entertainment Inc. on its Facebook page last Thursday.
“Ano’ng kayang mong gawin para mabawi sya?” the post reads.
The teaser starts with the dinner date of Navarro and Marquez.
“Alam mo pag nagkasama tayo, humihinto ang mundo ko. May sasabihin sana ako sa ‘yo,” Navarro tells Marquez.
Navarro is about to kneel but is stopped by Marquez.
“Wait, wait. Ako muna, may sasabihin din naman ako sayo ‘eh,” she says.
“ ‘Wag mong sabihin sa akin na makikipaghiwalay ka? Napanood ko na sa pelikula ‘yan,” Navarro says in jest.
Marquez replies, “Yes, Benedict. ‘Yun talaga gusto kong sabihin sa ‘yo ‘eh.”
Navarro wants to stop Marquez but she asks him to let her go.
Heartbroken, Navarro enters an establishment named “Turning Point.”
He meets the character played by Joey Marquez, who introduces him to a special kind of whiskey that can bring him back in time.
“Kapag naka-inom ka nito, pwede mong itama ang lahat ng mali mong desisyon mo sa buhay,” Marquez tells Navarro.
Navarro drinks shots of whiskey and is transported to different periods in the past: the Jurassic Period, the Japanese War, the time Adam and Eve, and the 1980s.
“Unli Life” is the first starring role of Winwyn in a film. She won the Reina Hispanoamericana title in Bolivia last year, the first Filipina to bring home the crown.
Navarro’s more recent films include “Woke Up Like This” and “Mang Kepweng Returns” both released last year.
“Unli Life” is directed by Miko Livelo and produced by Regal Films.
It also stars Ejay Falcon, Donna Cariaga, Jon Lucas, Isabelle De Leon, Alex Calleja, Kamille Filoteo, and Red Ollero.
