Police seized P480 T worth of Marijuana in Tejero drug bust

An alleged Marijuana peddler was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Tejero, Cebu City past 4 a.m. on Wednesday, July 11.
Operatives from the Fuente Police Station confiscated four kilos of marijuana with an estimated worth of P 480,000 from 23-year-old Junemar Cabahug.
The operation was conducted after local authorities received reports regarding the suspect’s illegal activities in the community, said Fuente Police Station Chief Insp. Ma. Theresa Catangay.
“Naay nakasumbong sa atong station nga nakakita sa iyaha nga namaligya sa iyang balay,” said Macatangay.

She said that Cabahug was from Barangay Kamputhaw. It was only this year that he transferred to Tejero.
“Nainit naman na siya sa barangay mao tong nibalhin siya laing barangay pero nagpadayon gihapon siya sa iyang pagpamaligya,” said Macatangay.
The suspect also said that he got the marijuana from a source in Danao City.
The suspect is now detained at Fuente Police precinct pending the filing of charges against him.
