A man was shot by an unidentified man at a rooftop of a building in Barangay T. Padilla, Cebu City on Thursday dawn (July 12).

Melvin Obligado, 27, was reportedly sleeping at the rooftop of J-King Building,
when James Devilleres, 27 years old, and another unidentified man confronted the victim.

Devilleres and his companion alleged that Obligado stole three cellphones and a pocket Wi-Fi owned by their friend.

Initial investigation showed that the three had a heated argument, prompting the unidentified man to fire shots at Obligado.

The victim sustained gunshot wounds on his left shoulder and left the portion of his stomach. A stray bullet also hit Devilleres.

Obligado and Devilleres were rushed to a private hospital in Cebu City for immediate medical treatment. / USJR Intern ZenaMagto
