The local government of Badian has issued a statement clarifying reports concerning the two local guides who were arrested in a buy-bust operation last July 7.

The statemen reads that the arrested 31-year-old Jejomar Divinagracia from Compostela, Alegria, Cebu and James Peter Greaves, 30, a native of Barangay Matutinao, Badian, Cebu are not accredited as canyoneering guides of Badian Canyoneering Adventure.

“Only accredited guides who have undergone the training from Eruf and have passed the drug test are allowed entry to the Badian Canyoneering Adventure,” the statement read.
