Several school buildings in Cebu have remained unused and unoccupied, according to The Commission on Audit in Central Visayas (COA-7).

These buildings are located at the national high schools in Bantayan, Daanbantayan, Talisay City, Argao, and Pajac and Poblacion in Lapu-Lapu city.
The school building projects are worth P165 million.

Amaryllis Villarmia, Department of Education in Central Visayas (DepEd-7) information officer, said they found some “issues” after the completion of the projects last year.

The issues include lack of electrical and water connections, minor defects and lack of permit on the unused buildings.
