Youth anti-drug council elects leaders

A youth council created to assist the Cebu Provincial Anti-Drug Abuse Organization (CPADAO) in its awareness campaign against illegal drugs in the youth sector had elected its officers.

John Carlou Areglo of Daabantayan National High School was elected president of the Barkada Kontra Droga (BKD)’s Supreme Student Government Council.

Also elected were partymates Amodine Bitoon as Secretary, Ropha Mae Cabanas as Secretary, Estelle Menchavez as Treasurer and Pamela Gen Ybañez as Auditor.

Four Peace Officers were also elected with Ugsiman Gonzalo Jr., Rommel Martin Mates, Jorenelle Sagayno, and Kyron Lasot representing the Northeast, Northwest, Southwest and Southeast respectively.

The Public Information Officers for the same areas were Anjaylon Monisit, Charlene Balaod, Ralph Ongkit and Rommel Ogdamen.
