AS ONE of the country’s most progressive economic hubs, Cebu City has been experiencing an unprecedented progress in the realm of transportation.

Coinciding perfectly with this energetic development, Worldbex Services International – the country’s leading events and expositions organizer in the Philippines – is thrilled to present the highly-anticipated return of the region’s biggest automotive event.

Now on its 11th year, the Cebu Auto Show (CAS) will once again unite the Visayan market’s top automotive companies for three explosive days of non-stop trade action.

Conceived as one of the regional installments of the iconic Manila International Auto Show (MIAS), the 11th CAS is expected to roll out an equally remarkable presentation of the latest and most innovative automotive trends.

Driving around the theme of “Work and Play,” this year’s CAS will be turning its focus on two of the most prominent reasons why people buy cars.

More than ever, people are realizing the value of owning cars not just for everyday use but also for their leisure aspirations.

On the other hand, the emergence of new entrepreneurial opportunities as well as the fast-growing TNV sector has undoubtedly opened up a new market for vehicles that can live up to this new form of consumer demand.

As such, CAS 2018 will be all about highlighting vehicles and other automotive products and services that will primarily address these growing demands.

Following the success of last year’s show, which showcased 70 companies and garnered close to 12,000 visitors, this year’s edition of CAS will continue to push the boundaries of auto trade presentation as it gathers a total of 44 booths composed of 7 vehicle brands, 2 motorcycle brands, and a long list of auto parts and car accessories sellers. Among the brands that are set to participate at this year’s show are Foton, JAC, JMC, Volkswagen, Ssangyong, and Toyota.

Aside from an impressive line-up of show exhibitors, guaranteed to drive up the excitement of automotive enthusiasts are the CAS 2018 event highlights.

At this year’s Custom and Classic Competition, different car clubs and other independent car owners from across the region will be besting it out in 21 categories.

Among these categories include the Best Race-Inspired, Best in Show, Best Model, Best Lighting Display, Best Interior, Best in Classic, Best in Body Kit, and so much more.

Meanwhile, this year’s much-awaited Diecast car model swap meet will surely impress the most discerning collector as it showcases the best pieces from the Diecast Car Collectors of the Philippines and the Cebu Diecast Car Collectors.

Given that both organizations are comprised of both local and international members, attendees are in for an unforgettable experience.

Also not to be missed is this year’s roster of sports cars and motor bikes display as well as the Mountain Wing exhibit of CAS 2018.

To be located at the ground floor of SM Seaside in Cebu, the Mountain Wing will feature a grand display of select cars that not only bear captivating designs but also, embody the “Work and Play” theme of this year’s show.

CAS opens its doors not only to industry players and enthusiasts but also for auto lovers and just about anyone who is interested to know all about the latest updates in the automotive field. More than just an auto show, the CAS offers people an experience of being a part of a dynamic community of passionate individuals who are rooting for the continued growth of the region’s automotive scene.

In turn, CAS 2018 will strive to deliver another memorable trade show presentation that will hopefully lead Filipinos to a future of better mobility.
