Mandaue officials back U.N. Avenue depressed project

Members of the Mandaue City Council has authorized Mayor Gabriel Luis Quisumbing on Wednesday to sign an Affidavit of No Complaint and Affidavit of Undertaking for the proposed construction of a four-lane depressed structure at the intersection of United Nations Avenue and D. M. Cortes Street.

The Department of Public Works and Highways in Central Visayas (DPWH-7) already started on July 23 phase 1 of the project implementation which includes the clearing of obstructions such as trees, center islands and electric posts and the mobilization of equipment.

The P1.7 billion project is set for completion in June 2020.
