The Cebu City Government has recorded a total revenue worth P4.2 billion from January to July this year.

Acting City Treasurer Veronica Morelos said their revenue has increased for this year, compared to P3.8 billion for the same period last year.

The bulk of the city’s income for the last seven months came from the collection of business taxes and real property tax (RPT).

“Our target income for 2018 is at P6.1 billion. We’ve already reached more than half as of July, so we’re confident we can achieve the target,” said Morelos.
