METRO stores in Cebu and nationwide are giving away some instant pa’baon to kick-off the start of the school year immediately right after purchase.
A back-to-school promotion that runs until July 15, one can bring home P5,000.00 in cash or in equivalent worth of Metro gift certificates (GC) in “Metro Instant Cash Pa’Baon.”
It takes only a purchase in credit or cash worth P1,000.00 for one to earn a pick at the designated Metro pa’baon bowl at the Metro Department Store, according to Metro marketing manager Enbee Tagalog.
The same is true for any purchase at the Metro Supermarket for as long as it includes any of the participating sponsor’s products, she added.
Tagalog identified the food brands in all sizes and variants as Anchor, Bear Brand, Coca Cola, Frisolac Four, Gain School, Jack N’ Jill, Kopiko, Lucky Me, Milo, Nature’s Spring, Promil Pre-school, UFC, and Voice.
Participating non-food brands, also in all sizes and variants, include Colgate, Creamsilk, Downy, EQ, Happy, Huggies, Kiwi, Modess, Safeguard, Silka, Skin White, Surf, and Zonrox.
Customers get an additional pick for receipts worth P3,000.00 if they use a BPI Card and also a Metro Reward Card to gain more chances to be among 250 winners of P5,000.00 cash or among the 250 winners of Metro GC’s worth P5,000.00.
The Metro Instant Pa’Baon will have over a million winners of various school supplies and grocery items, disclosed Tagalog. She added major prize winners will be asked to show a valid identification card.
A representative of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) supervises the seeding of the major prizes in all pa’baon bowls at Metro Colon, Metro Mandaue, Metro Ayala, and Super Metro in Basak San Nicolas and Colon and in the cities of Bogo, Lapulapu, Naga, Toledo.
Also participating are the new Metro Supermerket in Carmen, the Metro Wholesale Mart in Colon, and all Metro Fresh n’ Easy stores, the former Tita Gwapa outlets.
