Pilot whale found dead in Talisay City shore

A short-finned pilot whale was discovered washed up on the shores of Dumlog, Talisay City, Wednesday evening.

Aldrin Castillo, a 24-year-old resident of barangay Dumlog reported his discovery to the Fisheries Sea Ecological Care (FISECA).

The juvenile whale was found to have several injuries in different parts of its body. The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) asked to bury the whale since it was already decomposing.
