Adlawan snaps Mangosong’s streak

Cebuano motocross daredevil Jon Eleazar Adlawan clinched the pro open title in the 4th Leg of the Man and Machine Supercross Series 2014 last weekend in Badian town, southwestern Cebu.

Adlawan snapped Rhowell “Bornok” Mangosong IV’s two-leg winning streak in the pro division.

Mangosong trailed Adlawan in second place while Cebuano Jubenile Abellar settled for third.

Adlawan has trailed Mangosong in the two prior legs that were held outside Cebu.

Mangosong bounced back in the pro lite division, where he beat Adlawan. Adlawan finished second while Abellar landed at third once more.

Jacob Orbe found his winning spot in the intermediate division as he edged Ambo Yaparcon and Scott Remi.

Remi dominated the novice division while beginners division champion was Denmar Supatan.

Veteran Cebuano motocross rider Pepo Rubi topped the veteran’s A division, James Doroy won the veteran’s B division and Roscel Gungob ruled veteran’s C.

Clinton Gualiza lorded over the local enduro division while Dongkey won the open enduro division.
