A man suspected of drug pushing was arrested in Sogod town, northern Cebu on Monday.

At least 75 sachets of suspected shabu, P2,000 proceeds and assorted drug paraphernalia were seized from Crispin Arnejo.

Arnejo, 45, of barangay Damolog, was under surveillance for almost one month before the buy-bust operation, said Insp.Romeo Caacoy Jr., chief of Sogod Police.

Police said Arnejo sold one pack of shabu to a police decoy for P200.

Sogod police then served a search warrant issued by Judge Jerry Dicdican of RTC Branch 25 in Danao City.

Arnejo tried to evade arrest but was immediately collared by the police.

Caacoy said police investigation showed that Arnejo could dispose 25 grams of shabu a week and that he operates in Borbon town and neighboring municipalities.

Arnejo denied the charge. He told police that someone left the drugs in his house and told him to sell it.
