Woman nabbed, yields P470K worth of ‘shabu’

Police arrested a 49-year-old woman and recovered P470,000 worth of suspected shabu from her in a buy-bust operation in barangay Day-as, Cebu City yesterday afternoon.

Mary Jane de Guzman, whom police classified as a Level 2 drug pushing suspect, was arrested in barangay Sambag Uno in Cebu City yesterday afternoon.

Police allegedly seized P470,000 worth of suspected shabu from her possession.

Police said De Guzman is a Level 2 pusher as she could who can dispose of at least 200 grams of shabu a week.

The woman allegedly sold a pack of shabu worth P500 to poseur-buyer when she was arrested by operatives of the Regional Anti-Illegal Drug Special Operation Task Force.

Police then searched the woman’s house and found a big pack, two medium-size packs and five small packs of suspected shabu.

De Guzman admitted selling illegal drugs to sustain the needs of his family.
