2 fall in Lahug drug bust

Police arrested a man allegedly involved in selling drugs in barangay Lahug, Cebu City last Thursday night.

Packs of suspected shabu worth P180,000 was seized from the possession of Ramil Arriesgado, 45.

Also arrested was Arriesgado’s alleged cohort Jose Rias Tecson, 53.

The two allegedly sold a pack of suspected shabu to a poseur-buyer when they were arrested by operatives of the City Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operation Task Force (CAIDSOTF).

Barangay officials welcomed the arrest of the two men who were tagged as responsible for the proliferation of illegal drugs in the place, said CAIDSOTF chief Eunil Avergonzado.

Elsewhere, police apprehended a 39-year-old who was allegedly into the illegal drug trade along with his 42-year-old husband.

Doris Roco was arrested in a buy-bust operation in barangay Poblacion, Argao town, southern Cebu last Thursday afternoon.

Police said Roco’s husband Alvin eluded arrest.

Seized from Doris’ possession were nine 9 medium-sized plastic packs believed to contain shabu.
