The Alumni association of the Holy Rosary School of Pardo will stage its first-ever fun run dubbed the Rosarians’ Run on Aug. 30 starting at the school’s premises beside the Pardo Church.

The race is the start of a year-long series of activities leading up to the school’s golden anniversary celebration next year that will be highlighted by its alumni homecoming.

The proceeds of this running event will be used for the construction of the school’s extension building that is needed to cater to the K+12 program of the Department of Education (DepEd).

The running event will feature a three-kilometer and 1k run. There will also be a 100-meter dash for the students of the school.

Registration fee for the 3k and 1k is pegged at P300 for alumni and regular runners.  A parent and student can also register as a pair for just P300. All finishers will be given a finisher’s certificate and refreshments after the run.

Registration can be done at the Holy Rosary School of Pardo across the Pardo public market. Interested participants can also call 273-1915 or visit the Facebook page of the Holy Rosary School of Pardo Cebu.

Race director is Joel Juarez of Coco Running, who is an alumnus of the school.
