More than 300 high school students from the Sacred Heart School – Ateneo de Cebu underwent a personal leadership training facilitated by Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc. – Kool Adventure Camp (RAFI-KAC).

The program was aimed at developing the participants’ leadership and decision-making skills.

The first two batches of students underwent the program last August and September, respectively, while the third and final batch finished their training just last week.

“I have learned to be more supportive to my peers and to myself. I also learned to take risks and trust in my capabilities and to be more responsible and considerate to others,” said Jose Joaquin Baronta, one of the participants.

The Kool Adventure Camp is an introductory course for SHS-AdC high school students.

RAFI also plans to offer adventure education programs to college students in the coming year.
