Lawyer, companion post bail

Lawyer Aaron Pedrosa Jr. and Jessica Suniega posted bail of P6,500 and P1,500, respectively, at the  Mandaue  Hall of Justice yesterday morning.

Prosecutor Felixberto Geromo found probable cause on the obstruction of justice case filed against Pedrosa while a case for resisting arrest was filed in court against Suniega.

Pedrosa and Suniega were arrested for allegedly blocking authorities from clearing the remaining houses in sitio Mahayag, barangay Subangdaku, Mandaue City last Tuesday.

Suniega was also accused of hurting PO2 Jessie James Galo by scratching him in the face.

Meanwhile, Senior Insp. Miguel Andeza revealed yesterday that they have cleared sitio Mahayag.
