Woman, 60, children falls in drug bust

A 60-year-old woman and her two children were arrested inside their house which police said served as a drug den in barangay Catarman, Liloan, Cebu last Saturday afternoon.

Operatives of the Provincial Intelligence Branch seized several packs believed to contain shabu worth P188,800.

Arrested were Reynan Julles Lofranco and his mother, Maria Warlita, 60, as well as his sister Sarah May.

Senior Insp. Leo Logronio said it was Maria Warlita who handed the P200 worth of shabu to the buyer.

Police also arrested Arlen Bantilles, Erwin Bugtai, Tirso Vergara Jr., Jedan de Guzman, Jerome Abiraza and Eugene Restauro who were allegedly sniffing shabu in the sala.
