Heavy rains, winds in Cebu due to cold front

pagasaHeavy rain and strong winds in Cebu caused by the tail-end of a cold front affecting Central and Southern Luzon, the state weather bureau Pagasa said early today.

Pagasa advised the public to take precautionary measures against floods, lightning and strong winds. A thunderstorm warning was issued earlier over Cebu particularly in the towns of Boljoon, Alcoy, Oslob and Malabuyoc.

Light to heavy rain was issued in Metro Cebu and northern Cebu including Bantayan and Camotes island at past 3 p.m., Wednesday. A low pressure area was spotted in Mindanao.
