Woman loses P300K in holdup

The Filipina  wife of an American national lost P300,000 cash to unidentified robbers on a motorcycle in barangay Talamban, Cebu City Monday morning.

Sheila Waters, 31,  had just come from the bank and was  on her way to a remittance center to send money to her sister in Leyte when she was robbed. She told police  two men on  a motorcycle stopped her.   The backrider  got off,  poked a gun at her and  declared a holdup, said PO2 Jud Jacquez. The robbers sped off towards barangay Bacayan.

Waters said the robbers wore helmets covering their face.
