Some of the country’s top professional and amateur stars will pay homage to their roots as they are set to grace the opening of the 2015 Seaoil-National Basketball Training Center (NBTC) National High School Championships tomorrow at the Ynares Sports Arena.

Purefoods Hotshots forward Ian Sangalang, Global Port star Terrence Romeo, Talk ‘N Text guard Kevin Alas and Rain or Shine wingman Jeric Teng are expected to add spice to an event that gathers the top high school teams in the country in a battle royale that will determine who the country’s best is.

Also tapped to make appearances are current amateur standouts such as Kiefer Ravena, Jeron Teng, Scottie Thompson and Baser Amer to name a few. The opening ceremonies will also see sportsman Joel Lopa, president of the Tao

Corporation and Nokia Philippines, being honored for his role in backing the under-16 and under-18 national teams from 2007 to 2009 as well as an appearance by Bb. Pilipinas-Universe 2014 Mary Jean Lastimosa.
