Five passengers still confined at hospital day after ship accident

Five out of 21 injured passengers and crew of the MV St. Sealthiel are still confined at the Cebu Doctors Hospital.

Lito Salvio, asst. vice president of 2GO said they will cover all medical expenses for the passengers who were injured when the vessel hit the docking area at Pier 1 of Cebu City.

The vessel’s passenger safety certificate is still suspended by the Marina  pending investigation and determination of its seaworthiness.  MV Sealthiel is now docked at the Colorado Shipyard in Tayud, Consolacion for repair.
