The Meralco Bolts overhauled a 20-point third quarter deficit to frustrate sister-team NLEX Road Warriors, 91-85, sweeping their best-of-three quarterfinals series to earn a semifinal seat in the 40th PBA Commissioner’s Cup at the Araneta Coliseum.

The Bolts will next face the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters in a best-of-five semifinal series which will start on Tuesday.

Gary David fired a personal conference-high 31 points to lead the Bolts, who stared at 46-66 deficit in the third.

The other semifinal series will pit the Talk ‘N Text Tropang Texters and the defending champions Purefoods Star Hotshots. That series will begin on Wednesday.
