MORE than 50 photos of the Sto. Niño de Cebu and the devotion to the child Jesus are on display at the North Wing Atrium of SM City Cebu.

The Augustinians yesterday opened the exhibit, which will last until April 30.

The theme of the exhibit is “Sto. Nino: Hope of the People.” The photo exhibit is part of the celebration of the Kaplag celebration.

Fr. Harold Rentoria, OSA, executive director of Kaplag, said the same photos will be displayed at the University of Sto. Tomas in Manila on May 4. The exhibit will run for a week.

He said they also intend to hold another exhibit in Mindanao.

“Kaplag is not only for Cebuanos but for the entire country. Even if we come from different places, we are united in our devotion to the Holy Child. We are drawn together by the magnet of love. He is the hope of the people,” Rentoria said. /Xavier University Intern Ana Liza Jane Banaynal
