Two CTU graduates top civil engineers’ exams

TWO graduates of Cebu Technological University (CTU) main campus in Cebu City were among the topnotchers for the May 2015 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination.

John Renel Liston Capillanes ranked fourth with a rating of 91.85 while Ramel Hinayas Sigue was at ninth place with a rating of 90.25.

Both shared the honor with graduates of Mapua Institute of Technology in Manila. Capillanes shared the fourth place with Marc Belarmino Marbella while Sigue shared the ninth spot with Kyle Emmanuel Reynoso Murillo.

First placer was Francis Arjay Pastores Luz of Lyceum of the Philippines- Gen. Trias, Cavite with a rating of 93.35.

Based on the results released last night by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC), only 1,361 passed out of the 4,311 examinees.

The Civil Engineer Licensure Examination was given by the Board of Civil Engineering in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena and Tacloban. The results were released three working days after the last day of the exam.

According to the PRC, the registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be on May 13, 14 & 15, 2015.
