Man found dead, stuffed inside a sack

A dead man riddled with gunshot wounds was found stuffed inside a sack in Lower Calajoan, Minglanilla town, Thursday morning.

The victim who was identified as Bobby Labrador, 30 years old was wrapped in a plastic bag before he was placed in a sack.

Labrador had gunshot wounds at the back of his head and right shoulder. His right arm was severed.

A taxi driver, Democrito Lasala Jr. discovered the sack that was left at the side of the road near his home and immediately reported to the police.

The body was brought to Minglanilla District Hospital. It was only after it was reported to the radio that victim’s brother went to the police station and identified the victim.

Labrador is a former tricycle driver and a resident of Spring Village in barangay Pakigne, Minglanilla town.

Police believed that the crime is related to the victim’s alleged involvement in selling illegal drugs.
