THE 1985 Androids-Aceite de Manzanillas and the 2011 Elevens remained unscathed in the University of San Carlos North Alumni Basketball Conference Summer League as they clobbered their

respective opponents in the games that were held over the weekend at the USC North Campus gym along Mango Avenue.

The Androids creamed the 1990 Titans, 105-59, for their fifth win in a row in Division 1 action.

Former pro Lou Regidor tallied 32 points to lead the onslaught while his long-time running mate Bing Pua added 22 markers.

In other games in the same division, the 1988 Barakos and the 1993 Dragons kept in step with the leaders with contrasting victories in their respective matches.

The Barakos took care of the 1986 Mighty Geeks, thanks to the 20 points of Alvin Tajanlangit while the Dragons did not even sweat as they registered a default win over the 1980 Chargers.

Both Barakos and the Dragons hold second place with identical 4-1 (win-loss) records.

Bai 91 also grabbed a default victory over the 1984 Knights.

In Division 3, the Elevens beat the 2005 Chameleons, 78-66, for their fifth victory in as many games.

The 2006 Fury also rode behind the 33-point performance of Justin delos Reyes to hack out a 78-60 win over the 2010 Pioneers, their fourth against two losses.

In other games in the same division, the 2004 Rebels defeated the 2003 Stallions, 72-60, while the 2007 Dosmilsiete Waybus crushed the 2002 Vikings, 66-53.

In Division 2, the 1994 Bulldogs and the 2001 Dos Mil Uno-Lite Shipping remained in front after the former edged out the Faculty Warriors, 71-66, while the latter routed the 1995 Pirates, 90-78.

The two teams now hold similar 5-1 records.

Millennium 2000-Happy Homes also took care of the 1996 Chubbies, 79-58, while the 1999ers beat the 1997 Ronins, 82-71. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
